Abstract

In this paper we report the existence of two additional lines in the FIR magnetoabsorption photoconductivity spectra associated with the presence of a quantum well. Their surprising independence of the FIR photon energy and strong sensitivity to an applied external voltage is explained within the framework of a proposed model. The model is based on the existence of potential fluctuations coming from ionized donor centers and electron localization in the fluctuations induced by an external magnetic field.
