Laser-Kanone: Detonations-Nanodiamanten können mithilfe eines Infrarotlasers selektiv aus ihren Agglomeraten freigesprengt werden (siehe Bild). Dadurch werden dispergierte Nanodiamanten in Lösung erhalten, deren optische Eigenschaften sich durch Variation der Oberflächenliganden modifizieren lassen.
