4 + 4 = 8: Die Disproportionierung von [NbI(OC[2Ad]Mes)3(thf)] in Gegenwart von weißem Phosphor (P4) resultiert in der reduktiven Kupplung zweier P4-Moleküle. Der entstehende Dimetallkomplex enthält eine reaktive Niobphosphiniden-Einheit; ein einkerniges Hydrolyseprodukt konnte strukturanalytisch charakterisiert werden (siehe Bild: P orange, Nb violett, O rot). 2Ad = 2-Adamantyliden, Mes = 2,4,6-Me3C6H2.
