Wie aus dem Nichts: Starke photoinduzierte Änderungen des Ferromagnetismus wurden an der Grenzfläche zwischen Goldnanopartikeln (Au-NPs) und ankonjugierten Azobenzolthiolen beobachtet. Die photomagnetischen Effekte können einem Wechsel des bei der Photoisomerisierung des Azoliganden auftretenden Ladungsverlustes und der damit einhergehenden Umkehr des Oberflächendipols zugeschrieben werden.
