Synthesis and Structural Characterization of Graphite-Like [(Me3Sn)3O]Cl

Abstract
Two different routes were used to synthesize [(Me3Sn)3O]Cl, a compound which, in the solid state, has a planar AB layer structure, similar to that of graphite, as a result of cation–anion interactions (see picture).
