Call for Papers

First published: 23 October 2012

Thunderbird International Business Review encourages the development of innovative ideas and new research methods for understanding the challenges confronting global business. Papers should help bridge the gap between academics and the business community. The journal encourages applied research with an emphasis on implications for international business practitioners.

We are seeking papers on :
  • global human resource management;

  • emerging markets and marketing solutions;

  • cross-cultural communications and negotiation;

  • technological innovations; and

  • environmental and sustainability.

Submission guidelines for authors:

Submit manuscripts online at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/tibr and follow directions for submission by clicking on the Create Account tab at the upper right-hand corner of the Web page. Follow instructions carefully and indicate the type of manuscript you are submitting. Make certain to include information on any co-authors.

Include a cover letter indicating the name, address, phone and fax numbers and email address of the author. The letter must state that the article has not been previously published and that it is not currently under consideration elsewhere. Co-author information must also be included when preparing to submit your manuscript.

NOTE: WHEN UPLOADING YOUR MANUSCRIPT FILES DO NOT UPLOAD A COVER PAGE or include any identifying information in the files you upload. A review PDF will be created from your files and for that reason the manuscript must be anonymous. Your personal information is entered elsewhere on the site.

Questions may be e-mailed to Mary Teagarden, Editor, Thunderbird International Business Review: [email protected]

Copyright of published papers will be vested in the publisher. A copy of the transfer of copyright agreement, executed and signed by all authors, is required with each manuscript accepted. Original signatures are required.
