Doppelt hält besser! Die verzerrte Struktur eines Lithium-Yttrium-Bis(cyclopropyl)-Komplexes (siehe Bild) kann auf der Grundlage von zweierlei agostischen C-C-Wechselwirkungen interpretiert werden: eine, mit eher kovalentem Charakter, zu Y, die andere, mit eher elektrostatischem Charakter, zu Li. Die agostische C-C-Wechselwirkung zu Y wird durch eine agostische C-H-Wechselwirkung verstärkt.
