Want to share your research early and quickly? Try ESS Open Archive
ESS Open Archive (https://www.essoar.org/ ) is a community server established to accelerate the open discovery and dissemination of Earth, environmental, and space science research by archiving and sharing early research outputs, including preprints, presentations at major scientific meetings, and important documents of scholarly societies. All content posted receives a DOI and is citable and freely accessible.
You can submit your research to be shared as a preprint. Your preprint is then available online while it is being considered for publication and undergoing peer review. ESS Open Archive lets you track how your paper is being read, cited and shared online from the very start of the publication process. If you submit a poster or presentation it will have a DOI. This helps you build up your scholarly record, establish priority, and informs others of your work so you can get early feedback. Content is indexed by Google, Google Scholar, CrossRef, and other search tools. This means even more people can find your work and it is accessible to everyone!
We are excited to announce that we will be joining the ESS Open Archive community to make it easy for you to post preprints. Authors of Ecohydrology are now able to transfer your article when you submit. Your submission will be transferred after it passes through our editorial office quality control check, before being sent out for peer review. If your research is accepted for publication, ESS Open Archive will link the preprint DOI to the publication DOI automatically. This means that any citation to or search on the preprint DOI will automatically resolve to the official published version of record, once available.
