We are pleased to announce a call for papers for a special issue entitled "Plant-Induced Resistance and Biocontrol as Tools for Integrated Pest and Pathogen Management". This call invites contributions from researchers across various disciplines to explore the multifaceted strategies of utilizing plant-induced resistance and biocontrol agents for effective management of pests and pathogens in agricultural and natural ecosystems. We welcome original research papers, reviews, and perspectives that delve into the mechanisms underlying plant-induced resistance, the ecological roles of biocontrol agents, and their integration into sustainable pest and pathogen management strategies. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the molecular basis of induced resistance, the efficacy and safety of biocontrol agents, ecological and environmental interactions within the plant-microbe-insect, and practical applications of these approaches in crop protection and ecosystem management. Through this special issue, we aim to foster interdisciplinary dialogue, advance scientific understanding, and promote innovative solutions towards sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation. Researchers are encouraged to submit their contributions for consideration, contributing to the collective effort in addressing the global challenges of pest and pathogen control while minimizing environmental impacts.

Deadline: 31 January 2025
