Endoplasmic reticulum functions in physiology and pathology

BOC cover 111_4

"In October 2017 at the Cordeliers Research Center, Paris, 5th edition of the meeting entitled ‘Endoplasmic Reticulum functions in physiology and pathology’ was held, sponsored by the Institut Thematique Multi-Organisme (ITMO) ‘Cell Biology, Development and Evolution’ and organised by Fabienne Foufelle, Eric Chevet and Laurent Combettes... By taking advantage of the impact of this meeting and to further document the latest advances on different aspects of ER biology, we herein propose a theme series of reviews in Biology of the Cell...

We believe that readers will find the review articles of interest and timely relevant. In addition, we hope that the concepts and evidence discussed in the articles will stimulate new avenues of research that hopefully will contribute to address unanswered, important questions regarding the role of ER functions in cell and tissue regulation."
