(a) Al/Cu icosahedron. (b) Li pentagondodecahedron. Its pentagons are capped by Al/Cu atoms forming an icosahedron with diameter similar to the dodecahedron (c). These two shells together form a triacontahedron. (d) Truncated icosahedron of Al/Cu atoms. (e) Li triacontahedron with Li atoms capping the hexagonal faces of the truncated icosahedron.
