Corrigendum to “Effect of an Albumin-Coated Mesoporous Silicon Nanoparticle Platform for Paclitaxel Delivery in Human Lung Cancer Cell Line A549”

In the article, the authors identified an error in Figure 7. The authors accidentally saved one image that represented APMSN 5 ng/mL as PTX 10 ng/mL and uploaded it instead of the correct PTX 10 ng/mL image.

To confirm their results, the authors performed statistical analysis on the DAPI fluorescence microscope image data, which was shown to be consistent with the flow cytometry analysis and confirmed their results.

The corrected Figure 7 and statistical analysis have been reviewed by the Editorial Board who subsequently approved this correction.

Images from this article were also found to be overlapping with a subsequently published article by a different author group [1, 2], which has since been retracted [3]. The authors explain that this is due to an error in the selection of images for the retracted article caused by the work being conducted in the same institution. The authors attest that the data in this article is correct.
