Delete the citation Han & States (2010) at p. 3, section “Overview of the present Study”, line 15, and in the reference list at p. 8.
p. 3, section “3 Overview of the present Study”, line 18: “2016” is replaced by “2014”; “Han” is deleted.
p. 4, first column, line 7: after “10 RMB”, add “or course credits”.
p. 4, section “4.2.1 Positive and negative extended contact”: alpha for positive extended contact is 0.84 and not 0.86.
p. 4, section “4.2.2 In-group and out-group norms”: the section should be replaced with the following: “Perceived in-group and out-group norms were measured using five items (two items for perceived out-group norms, three items for perceived in-group norms) adapted from Turner et al. (2008), with participants responding on 7-point scales ranging from 1 (not at all) to 7 (very much). Perceived out-group norms were measured using the following items: “How friendly do you think Han are to Uyghur?”, “In general, how much do you think Han like Uyghur?” (r = 0.74). Perceived in-group norms were measured using the following items: “In general, how friendly do you think Uyghur are to Han?”, “In general, how happy do you think Uyghur would be to go out with/date someone who is Han?”, “In general, how happy do you think Uyghur would be to spend time with/be friends with someone who is Han?” (α = 0.84). Higher scores denote stronger perceptions of positive out-group and in-group norms on intergroup contact, respectively.”
p. 4, section “4.2.4 Out-group attitudes”: alpha is 0.92 and not 0.91.
p. 4, section “5 Results”: line 3, “t(872) = 51.77” is replaced with “t(874) = 51.99”; line 11: “Z = 2.21” is replaced with “Z = 2.15”, and “Z = 5.83” is replaced with “Z = 5.66”
p. 7, column 1, line 13: “that” is replaced by “than”.
The authors confirm that these errors do not affect the empirical results.
