Improving Performance and Delivery Through Change and Innovation—NHS Scotland Change Convention7th and 8th March 2006

Who: A convention for all those involved in delivering Healthcare across Scotland; including all of the professional groups within the NHS family. In addition, health professionals working in nursing and residential homes and accompanying local authority/NHS establishments.
Why: A two day event with the aim to promote a culture of innovation, improvement and increased performance across NHS Scotland.
The event will offer a thorough examination of the Delivering for Health Report themes, aspects incorporating Long Term Conditions; Continuous Care; Integrated Care; Patients as a Partner; Preventable Care and the usage of technology.
Of important relevance will be an exploration into the critical success factors in making sustainable improvements within the Health Service and a focus upon enhancing and building confidence for the implementation of change. Building confidence in using improvement tools and techniques will be a key focus of the event.
Crucially, the conference will offer excellent opportunities for networking with colleagues from across Scotland; sharing and promoting innovative and creative thinking for ways of working towards improving outcomes for patients.
