ChemInform Abstract

The synthesis of title compounds (VI) (22 examples) and their activity against wild-type and mutant types of HIV-1 non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase are described. Compound (VIb), the most potent derivative, also possesses a potent resistance profile against several clinically meaningful mutant virus strains.
