ChemInform Abstract

Palladium-catalyzed conjugate addition of carbamate (II) to various enones affords regioselectively β-aminoketones, except for ketones (Id) and (X). The reactions are performed under mild and neutral conditions with excess of either the carbamate or the enone, and no preactivation of the carbamate is necessary.
