ChemInform Abstract

The molecular structure of optically active Pd-complex (I) is determined by means of X-ray diffraction analysis. Its chloro-bridged analogue (II) is an excellent catalyst precursor for arylation of 3,4-dihydro-2H-pyran (III) under mild conditions but without any asymmetric induction.
