ChemInform Abstract

The low temp. (100 K) structures of the rhombohedral C14 type derivative ZrCr2D3.8 (space group Requation imagec) and the monoclinic (C2/c) C15 type derivatives ZrV2Dx (1.1 < x < 2.3) and HfV2D1.92 are found to be centrosymmetric rather than non-centrosymmetric. New structure refinements of the original neutron diffraction data yield more consistent results and significantly different deuterium distributions.
