ChemInform Abstract

Thirty-nine title derivatives like (III) are synthesized by reacting thiocarbamoylpyrazolines (I) with phenacetylbromide (II). Compounds (I) are obtained by reaction of chalcones with thiosemicarbazide in accordance with a literature method. The hypotensive activities of 13 compounds are evaluated. All of them display appreciable activities. Compounds (III) show increased hypotensive activities.
