ChemInform Abstract

Single crystals of the title compound are obtained by arc melting of the elements followed by annealing at 870 K (evacuated quartz tube, 2 weeks). Sm2Ru3Si5 crystallizes in the U2Mn3Si5 type structure, space group P4/mnc.
