ChemInform Abstract

Seven new title derivatives like (I) are synthesized by reaction of flavone-3′-sulfonamide with isocyanates. The new compounds are evaluated for their in vitro insulin releasing activity. Compounds (Ia) and (Ib) are able to increase insulin release at least at the higher concentrations used. Flavonylsulfonylurea (Id) exhibits no effect.
