ChemInform Abstract

Treatment of nonactivated dienes with aldehydes of type (II) and (XI) in the presence of chiral Pd- and Pt-catalysts results in enantioselective formation of pyran derivatives. Excellent ees are obtained starting from the dienes (I) and (VI).
