ChemInform Abstract

The new cationic Rh(I) dicarbonyl complex is an efficient catalyst for intramolecular hydroamination of both terminal and nonterminal alkynes (I) and (III) with high regioselectivity, except in case of (Ib), where 2-methyl-3,4,5,6-tetrahydropyridine is also formed as minor by-product.
