ChemInform Abstract

Five natural products (I), (II), (III) are isolated from Acremonium murorum and found to have inhibitory activity towards magnesium-dependent sphingomyelinase. Derivatives (I) show the best activity due to free hydroxyl groups in the hydroquinone moiety.
