ChemInform Abstract

New compounds (Sr1-xMx)(Ti1-xLix) (O1-xFx)3 (M: Ca, Sr, Pb) are prepared by solid state reaction. X-ray diffraction studies show a strong change from the cubic structure of pure SrTiO3. The oxyfluoride phases are isostructural and crystallize with a complex perovskite structure isostructural with NaNbO3. The symmetry is found to be orthorhombic for all compounds.
