ChemInform Abstract

Structure—activity relationships are investigated for a series of title compounds (VI). Among them derivatives (VIa) and (VId) are found to be potent and selective inhibitors of Helicobacter pylori. This activity depends on the length, unpolarity of substituents and also on the number of substituents at the guanidino moiety.
