ChemInform Abstract

The structure of the title salt (I) in polar and non-polar solvents is studied using NMR-spectrometry. The reaction of compound (I) with alkyl halides (II) gives the propargylic adducts (III) as the major and the allenic adducts (IV) as the minor products independent of the reaction conditions.
