The synthesis of the title triazines (III) and (V) by regioselective cyclization of heterocumulenes (I) and (IV), resp., with guanidine (II) is presented. The so formed 4-oxo derivatives (III) form intermolecular associates in solution while the 4-imino analogues (V) isomerize in solution to give the compounds (VI).
