ChemInform Abstract

The usefulness of the synthesized title dihydropyridines for the enantioselective reduction up to 70% e.e. is shown. It is noteworthy that the chemical yield increases with higher temperatures or a higher amount of Mg(ClO4)2, while the e.e.-value is little affected by these changes.
