ChemInform Abstract

Hydroxylamine and hydroxamic acid derivatives of a known nonsteroidal antiinflammatory dibenzoxepine series are synthesized and the structure-activity relationship is investigated. On the basis of their promising profile of in vitro and in vivo activities the hydroxamic acids (III) and (V) are selected for toxicological assessment.
