Some derivatives of the title compound (III) are synthesized in a one- pot-reaction in good to very good yield by condensation of 2- chlorobenzoxazoles (I) with 2-aminobenzonitrile (II). An electron acceptor in 5- or 6-position of (I) prolongs the reaction time and lowers the yield of the reaction.
