ChemInform Abstract

TiCl2(Cp)2-catalyzed hydroalumination of alkynes using the LiAlH4-MeOH reagent system affords selectively the monohydroaluminated products in good yields under mild experimental conditions. A slight preference of cis-addition is observed in the hydroalumination of internal alkynes.
