ChemInform Abstract

Base-catalyzed hydrolysis of 1,3-dialkyl-3-acyltriazenes such as (I) yields the deacylated parent compounds (II). The corresponding 1-(2- chloroethyl) derivatives (III) are converted to the 1-methyltriazoline (IV) under similar conditions.
