ChemInform Abstract

Investigations of the platinum crystallites by temp.-programmed reduction and desorption of hydrogen techniques reveal that the procedure in the activation process of platinum monometallic catalyst supported on α-Al2O3 is of influence in the dehydrogenation reaction. Adsorbed hydrogen in high-temp. conditions causes an important decrease of the dehydrogenation rate.
