ChemInform Abstract

Diels-Alder reaction of allyl alcohol (II) with the cyclopentadienone ( I) gives predominantly the norbornene derivative (III) which is accompanied by the furan derivatives (IV) and (V). Reaction of (I) with diallylamine (VI) leads to the formation of the tetracyclic compound (VII).
