ChemInform Abstract

The dimethylcarbamoyl group is the most promising group in combination with the phenylacetyl group for the protection of the deoxyguanosine ( I). This most stable of several protecting groups is successfully applied in the synthesis of d(AAGCTT) hexanucleotide, which is Hind III recognition sequence.
