Abstract
The photochemically obtained THF-complex (Va) (space group P21/n, Z=4) serves as starting material in the synthesis of a series (5 examples) of substitution derivatives such as (Vb) (C2/c, Z = 8).

The photochemically obtained THF-complex (Va) (space group P21/n, Z=4) serves as starting material in the synthesis of a series (5 examples) of substitution derivatives such as (Vb) (C2/c, Z = 8). In the reaction with 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane, besides a product with a monodentate ligand a dinuclear species with the diphosphine as a bridge is also obtained.
