Abstract

Thirteen piperidinium dithiocarboxylates such as (I) are coupled with the pyridinium iodide (II) to form the thioacylthiopyridinium iodides (III).

Thirteen piperidinium dithiocarboxylates such as (I) are coupled with the pyridinium iodide (II) to form the thioacylthiopyridinium iodides (III). These are treated with sodium azide (IV) to produce the corresponding thiatriazoles (V) mentioned in the title.
