Abstract
The aziridine derivative (I) is obtained from 4-chlorostyrene.

The aziridine derivative (I) is obtained from 4-chlorostyrene. After ring opening the thiols (III) or their analogues such as (VII) can be attached to give analogues such as (IV) of the GABAB receptor antagonist baclofen.
