Abstract
Diazabutadienes such as (III) and (V) mentioned in the title are prepared by reaction of the corresponding thiourea derivatives (I) and (IV) with methyl iodide (II).

Diazabutadienes such as (III) and (V) mentioned in the title are prepared by reaction of the corresponding thiourea derivatives (I) and (IV) with methyl iodide (II). Coupling of (Va) and (Vb) with the secondary amines (VI) yields the diamino derivatives (VII).
