Abstract

Addition of the amines (II) or (V) to the ketenes derived from (I) leads to mixtures of the enolized (Z)- and (E)-amides (III) and (IV) or (VI) and (VII).

ChemInform Abstract

Addition of the amines (II) or (V) to the ketenes derived from (I) leads to mixtures of the enolized (Z)- and (E)-amides (III) and (IV) or (VI) and (VII). The (Z)/(E)-ratios in the equilibrium depend on the solvent and the steric and electronic effects. Configurational stable compounds are of interest for synthetic purpose.
