ChemInform Abstract

The N-protected phosphonates (V) and (X), produced by reaction of the dichlorobutene (I) with the amides (II) or (VIII) and subsequent coupling with triethyl phosphite (IV), react with the aldehydes (VI) to give the protected pentadienylamines (VII) and (XI).
