Abstract

The uranium 4-membered metallacycle (I) reacts with nitriles such as (II) to give the 6-ring metallacycles (III).

The uranium 4-membered metallacycle (I) reacts with nitriles such as (II) to give the 6-ring metallacycles (III). These are hydrolyzed to form the ketones (IV).
