ChemInform Abstract

The title reaction of 4-bromo-2-cyclopenten-1-one (I) with the E-vinylstannanes (II) or the 2-vinylstannanes (V) gives the 4-substituted cyclopentenones (III) and (VI), whereas the Z-vinylstannanes (VIII) form predominantly the dienes (IX).
