Abstract
The title compound (I) is prepared by reaction of W2(O-tBu)6 with 3,3'-dimethyl-1,1'-bi-2,2'-naphthol in toluene at 0 °C and characterized by X-ray structure analysis (space group Pna21, Z=4), 1H and 13C NMR and UV/VIS spectra.
