ChemInform Abstract

Thermal rearrangement reactions of the allylic sulfinate esters (I), (III), (V), (VI), (X), and (XIII) in formamide to the various allylic sulfones shown in the scheme is investigated and the mechanisms of the individual rearrangements are discussed in detail.
