Abstract

The overall decomposition of H2O2 in the presence of KIO3 and H2SO4 is found to obey first order kinetics, not only with respect to H2O2, but also with respect to KIO3.

ChemInform Abstract

The overall decomposition of H2O2 in the presence of KIO3 and H2SO4 is found to obey first order kinetics, not only with respect to H2O2, but also with respect to KIO3. The rate constant of the process is evaluated.
