Abstract

The title compound has been studied by TEM and XRD.

ChemInform Abstract

The title compound has been studied by TEM and XRD. This material has an easy cleavage plane parallel to (001). YBa2Cu3O7-x (x ≪ 1) crystals can be twinned (mechanical twins, ferroelastic material), but they are generally twinned only to a small degree. Another oxide has been observed in epitaxial growth on YBa2Cu3O7-x. A superlattice perpendicular to the common c axis has been observed probably due to a regular stacking of both oxides.
