Abstract

Cyclic voltammograms of the complex (I) show that above pH 7 a systematic decrease in the peak currents exists with concomitant growing of a new wave.

ChemInform Abstract

Cyclic voltammograms of the complex (I) show that above pH 7 a systematic decrease in the peak currents exists with concomitant growing of a new wave. This process is completely reversible and can be ascribed to the equilibrium between (I) and (II). The changes in the chromophore group due to the oxime-nitroso conversion are detected by the resonance Raman spectra below pH 7 and at pH 10.
