Abstract
The novel title compounds NaMGe2O6 (M: Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu) are prepared from Na2CO3, M2O3 and GeO2.

The novel title compounds NaMGe2O6 (M: Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu) are prepared from Na2CO3, M2O3 and GeO2. These mixtures are heated to 100-1200 °C for 80-100 h. The monoclinic title compounds have chain structure. Some of their physico-chemical properties are investigated.
